The October 14, 2026 update replaced the older 1-in-8,192 rate. A probability is not a guaranteed find after that many picks.
Which picks can turn shiny?

Open the creator’s game and choose 17–0 Challenge or 151 Challenge, or enter Fantasy Draft. These are the documented opportunities; ordinary Builder selection is a separate operation.
Found one while signed out? Keep it within a day
- Keep the browser where the find happened available. The creator’s retention instruction applies to that browser.
- Complete sign-in before one day has passed. Open Account on the game site, choose Google, Discord or X and finish the game’s setup prompts. The October 14 update extends signed-out finds to both solo challenges; Fantasy Draft also documents this retention window.
- Check Shiny Collection and Recent finds. Look for the species and its recorded finding time and mode. Keep the original browser available until the find appears in the intended account.
If account creation cannot be completed, the game says a shiny cannot be kept without an account. Local play can continue, but a saved lineup picture is not the same as a retained collection entry.
Use a collected shiny and save its appearance
In Builder, species you have found can show shiny in your lineup and in Save image exports. The small Shiny switch in the picker changes one back to its normal appearance. Open Shiny Collection on Account to review finds; the creator lists 1,025 species to collect and keeps when and where each was found.
Finish a 17–0 or 151 run containing a shiny and inspect the season card. Its foil, sheen and sparkles are accompanied by the shiny’s name, or the number found. Sharing or saving that challenge card keeps the holographic effect. This is separate from the Builder’s lineup image.
Why older pages say 1 in 8,192
That was the October 13 launch rate. The October 14 patch notes lower it to 1 in 1,365 and allow signed-out solo-challenge finds. The current Account text agrees. These public instructions were checked October 15, 2026; we have not tested a random find, provider sign-in or collection transfer.
