Why these players have these jobs
Passing: Alakazam has 135 Sp. Atk, 95 Sp. Def and 120 Speed, plus the Psychic QB nudge. Tauros carries 100 Attack and 110 Speed at HB. Jolteon adds 130 Speed and the Electric slot nudge; Dodrio brings 110 Attack and 110 Speed; Electrode’s 150 Speed offers separation but its 50 Attack is a tradeoff.
Blocking: Snorlax, Golem, Onix, Rhydon and Cloyster deliberately emphasize different combinations of HP, Defense and Weight. Onix has 160 Defense but 35 HP; Snorlax has 160 HP and 460 kg but 65 Defense. Neither dimension alone defines every line role. Dragonite is a balanced, 210 kg TE with 134 Attack, 95 Defense, 91 HP and 80 Speed, though it lacks the TE’s Fighting/Water nudges.
Front seven: Machamp and Pinsir lean on physical Attack. Machamp’s 55 Speed is a clear edge-rusher weakness, so this lineup is not presented as the optimum. Scyther and Primeape supply Attack and Speed at OLB. Poliwrath and Kangaskhan support the interior with physical strength and defensive balance. Lapras supplies 130 HP and 220 kg at NT, but its 80 Defense and lack of a listed NT type nudge leave alternatives worth comparing.
Coverage: Aerodactyl has 130 Speed and a Flying CB nudge. Persian has 115 Speed but no CB type nudge; it is a useful example of the tradeoff between a fast candidate and a close alternative. Tentacruel has 120 Sp. Def and 100 Speed at safety. Starmie combines 115 Speed, 85 Sp. Def and the Psychic safety nudge.
Use it to learn, then make your own choices
Open the free Builder, choose Gen 1, exclude Legendaries, select 3–4 and Slot, and place these Pokémon. Use the copy button as a checklist. Clicking any name above opens the scout with that role and player selected.
Next compare your slowest pass rusher and the lowest defensive fit on your line. Changing one player can repair a visible tradeoff; it does not prove the season will be unbeaten. You cannot select this exact roster freely in the random 151 Challenge.
